The cause of suffering is often rooted on the illusion that life should not be in the way it is. Events, people and circumstances in life do not make us feel good or bad – they only provide a stimulus. It is actually our cognitions that determine how we feel in any given situation. When we surrender to the present moment, and that life always offers us the perfect situation for us to grow, it sets us free and allow us to embrace our reality.

Everything is perfect just as it is and at any given moment we hold the tools to be happy today regardless. Happiness however is not to ignore our ‘unexpected’ reality, to lower our standards or even pretending that ‘everything is okay’ when we wished something else. It is instead, to act from a place of victory already, knowing that we can overcome any obstacle or transform anything from a standpoint of strength, joy and gratitude.
